All about me!
My name is Rena Petinga. I graduated from Millikin University in 2010 and after two years of teaching, decided that my place was at home with my baby. I stayed home for five years raising my little ones. Being a mother is an absolute joy, but my passion is teaching! So, when my youngest entered preschool I was overjoyed to discover that the amazing school that we had selected for our children had an opening! Excitedly, I am part of the Carroll Catholic family as both a parent and a teacher.
My husband, Francisco "Chico", is from Portugal and we travel there as often as we can with our three amazing daughters; Emma, Alisia, and Savannah. We love being right on the beach, but are even more grateful for the time with family and helping our children experience their heritage. We also enjoy the family tradition of blueberry picking every summer. It is such a simple activity that our whole family looks forward to every year!
